**Exciting News from Former WNBA Legend Bridget Pettis!**
We are thrilled to announce that former WNBA star and Phoenix Mercury legend, Bridget Pettis, has opened her very own business in North Phoenix! Ms. Be’s has firmly rooted itself in the community as a local health food market, dedicated to providing healthy, organic options for all.
In addition to her delicious meals, Ms. Be’s has collaborated with Hot Sauce Pepper to add their amazing Califlyah Wings to some of her meals. This partnership enhances the flavor profile of the dishes, ensuring a soulful and satisfying dining experience.
Ms. Be’s also offers a variety of other products, including famous garlic and onion powder, as well as a selection of teas and fresh juices. These products reflect Bridget’s commitment to quality and flavor, making healthy eating enjoyable for everyone.
Partnering with fellow entrepreneur Mechelle Tucker from First Class Boutique, Bridget is committed to growing their passion and expanding their entrepreneurial endeavors. With an impressive career in the WNBA, including six years with the Phoenix Mercury and two with the Indiana Fever, Bridget also served as an Assistant Coach for the Mercury, contributing to their 2007 and 2009 championship victories.
Bridget shares, “I started Ms. Be’s because it was something that felt true to me. In 2020, I stepped away from the WNBA and began my foundation to learn how to grow food and then teach others. The farm has humbled me in so many ways, and every experience was needed. Basketball was my everything, and these last four years, the land has helped me reconnect with people, my community, and my true purpose: feeding the need.”
Bridget recognizes that the current need is for healthy, organic, and nourishing food. Ms. Be’s provides a farm-to-table meal prep service that stems from her passion for farming. “Once you learn to grow food, you need to know what to do with it and how to create meals that people will enjoy, especially those consciously trying to eat healthier,” she adds.
All meals at Ms. Be’s are plant-based, with the majority of ingredients sourced from Bridget’s farm or other local farmers. Look for Ms. Be’s in local farmers markets throughout the valley as well.
